Fiat New Small Car
In India, Fiat’s line up of small car consists of the Punto and the Palio. And while the Palio has aged, the Punto remains an expensive affair for most small car buyers. But now the company is planning a small car that could change the fortunes of the Italian car maker. The small car would be based on a new platform and will be equipped with a small engine. Even though Fiat has got the 900cc twinair engine, it is unlikely to use it for the small car as it is going to be built to a cost. Fiat is considering both diesel as well as petrol engine for the small car.
Expected Launch Date: Early 2012
