Volkswagen Tiguan
The Volkswagen Tiguan is an intelligently designed soft-roader that may prove to be a perfect SUV for Indian roads. In India, the car will be available with a choice of a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol that will generate 170 bhp and a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine that will deliver 170 bhp. The car will be based on the platform of Volkswagen Golf and will compete with Honda CRV and Mitsubishi Outlander in India. The Tiguan will come with a Haldex four-wheel-drive system, potent diesel engines, and a splendid interior with numerous features to increase the level of comfort.
Expected Launch Date: Late 2011
Estimated Price Tag: Rs 25 Lakh
