Hyundai Motor India Limitedis the second largest car manufacturer after Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) in India. The company is all set to launch its C sector hatchback Hyundai i30 in mid-2011, after the grand victory of i10 and i20 cars in India; i30 is going to be the next big launch for the company. The company plans to offers i30 in petrol and diesel versions, the car is previously launched in several countries around the world. Hyundai i30 has been awarded as the Car of the Year and Green Car of the Year in Australia (2007).  Like i10 and i20 the car is expected to be a family car by Korean automaker. Hyundai’s Chennai plant will manufacture the engines. It will compete with Chevy beat, Maruti Swift and upcoming Maruti Cervo.

Hyundai i30 Engine- the Company plans to launch both diesel and petrol engines of i30 in Indian market. The specifications of both the engine are same. The i30 comes with a displacement of 1396cc, 4 Cylinder DOHC, Engine with the 5 Speed Manual Transmission gearbox.  The i30’s robust engine gives a maximum power of 107.5bhp at 6200 rpm and also a pulsating torque of 247 Nm at 137.2 Nm @ 5000 rpm without compromising on the safety. The engine built for the brave hearted with great power in their vehicle be it a retro or a highway it just takes off the road every time to all new driving experience.
