Suzuki to export Ertiga from India
Maruti Suzuki will unveil its new MPV Ertiga at the Auto Expo in Delhi next month. The new multi purpose vehicle will be available in both petrol and diesel variants, and the unveiling next month will be a global one. The Ertiga may go on sale in Japan before India and will be made available across Europe in phases. Since the Ertiga will be exported worldwide we can expect a very good quality product along with Maruti’s USP – value for money – which should make the MPV segment heat up.

Suzuki is planning to export the new vehicle from India in the coming months and will opt for CKD (Completely Knocked Down) kits for competitive prices. CKD’s will include all critical parts like engine, transmission, suspension etc, that will be manufactured at the Manesar plant and will attract lower import duties than CBU.
