Variants and Price
Mitsubishi Lancer is available both in petrol and diesel options. Petrol option comes in two variants-1.5-litre and 1.8-litre engines while diesel option comes with 2.0-litre engine. MSRP of the car is $14,340 - $38,290.

Engine
Lancer has optimum power to weight ratio - 87/1010 bhp/kg which provides for its excellent stability. It has SOHC 12Valve MPI Petrol or 08 Valve IDI Diesel 4 cylinder engine.

Safety
The Lancer's safety structure comprises front and rear crushable zones that effectively absorb the impact energy of front & rear collisions. Other safety features incorporated include sturdy cabin structure, centrally located fuel tank, ventilated disc brakes, and collapsible steering column.
